The Wandenreich's capital, hidden for a thousand years in the shadows of the Seireitei. In the second invasion the Quincy make it rise in place of the Soul Reapers' city, turning the Seireitei into their battlefield.

Almost every fight of the second invasion is fought among its white stone towers: Rukia reveals her Bankai against As Nödt, Renji unleashes his true Bankai against Mask De Masculine, Kenpachi shatters Gremmy's imaginings, Mayuri and Nemu face Pernida, and Gerard Valkyrie crushes the captains with his miracles. The pin sits where the map draws the shadows of the Schatten Bereich.

  1. The second invasion: Silbern risesThousand-Year Blood WarThe Wandenreich returns and, through the Schatten Bereich, replaces the Seireitei with its own city, Silbern. The Soul Society finds itself fighting in the enemy's home.
  2. Rukia's BankaiThousand-Year Blood WarAgainst Äs Nödt, who floods her with fear, Rukia reveals her Bankai, Hakka no Togame: absolute zero. Even fear freezes; Byakuya, back from the Reiōkyū, stands by her.
  3. Renji vs Mask De MasculineThousand-Year Blood WarMask has beaten Rose and Kensei. Renji arrives, just down from the Reiōkyū: with the true Bankai taught to him by Ichibē, Sōō Zabimaru, he burns the Wandenreich's 'Superstar' to ash.
  4. Kenpachi vs GremmyThousand-Year Blood WarGremmy imagines meteors, weapons and an invincible body; Kenpachi cuts through them all. When he tries to imagine Kenpachi's strength, his own body cannot bear it.
  5. Giselle's zombiesThousand-Year Blood WarGiselle kills Bambietta and turns Soul Reapers and captains, Hitsugaya among them, into her zombies. Mayuri finds a way to reverse the process and turn the zombies against the Bambies.
  6. Mayuri and Nemu vs PernidaThousand-Year Blood WarPernida, the Soul King's left arm, twists the nerves of anyone it touches. Mayuri studies it as he fights; Nemu dies protecting him and dealing the decisive blow.
  7. Kyōraku and Nanao vs Lille BarroThousand-Year Blood WarThe Schutzstaffel's sniper takes an eye from Kyōraku, who answers with his Bankai Karamatsu Shinjū. Nanao wields her family sword, Shinken Hakkyōken, and together they stop Lille.
  8. Gerard Valkyrie's miracleThousand-Year Blood WarEvery wound makes Gerard bigger: he becomes a giant towering over the Seireitei. Kenpachi, Hitsugaya, Byakuya and others must join forces — along with Mayuri's science — to hold him back.
