Muken

無間

The deepest level of the Seireitei's underground prisons: a dark, boundless space. Here Aizen is chained for a twenty-thousand-year sentence, and here Unohana and Kenpachi fight their last duel.

Unohana chooses Muken because it is the only place where spiritual pressures like theirs can be unleashed without razing the Seireitei. Dying at Kenpachi's hands, she gives him back the strength he himself had sealed. Later Kyōraku goes down into the same abyss to free Aizen: against Yhwach, even he is needed.
