Soul King's Palace

The cocoon floating at the centre of the Reiōkyū where the Soul King has lived for a million years, without arms, legs or heart, sealed in a crystal as the linchpin that keeps the three worlds apart.

Yhwach, who is the King's son, goes in with Ichigo and Uryū; Ichigo's body is used to break the barrier, and Ichigo's sword runs the King through. Yhwach absorbs him and takes his place, but at that very moment the Soul Society starts to crumble: only Mimihagi, released by Ukitake's sacrifice, is left to hold it up.
