Inner desert of Las Noches

The stretch of sand under the dome where the mission's last fights are fought: Nnoitra against Nel and Ichigo, then against Kenpachi; Byakuya against Zommari.

Nel returns to her adult form for a few minutes and pushes Nnoitra to the wall, until the transformation fades. Kenpachi arrives to save the day and, to beat an opponent who boasts of his toughness, grips his sword with both hands for the first time, as kendō teaches. The individual fights' positions are indicative.
