5th Division barracks

The Division of Sōsuke Aizen, the kind captain respected by everyone — and the mastermind behind every crisis in the first half of the series. Lieutenant: Momo Hinamori, who worships him.

Aizen's 'corpse', pinned to the wall by the Eastern Great Assembly Hall, is the twist that plunges the Seireitei into mutual suspicion: it was an illusion of Kyōka Suigetsu. A hundred years earlier Aizen had been the lieutenant of Shinji Hirako, who returns to lead the Division after Aizen's war.
