日番谷冬獅郎
The youngest captain in the Gotei 13's history, head of the Tenth Division: a white-haired boy with the most powerful ice Zanpakutō, Hyōrinmaru.
Raised in Junrinan with Hinamori, he entered the Academy so his spiritual pressure would not make his grandmother ill. He leads the advance team into the World of the Living against the Arrancar and faces Harribel at the replica Karakura. In the war against the Quincy his Bankai is stolen by Cang Du; when he regains it, its complete form turns out to make him grow into an adult.
