Shunsui Kyōraku
京楽春水
The lazy, gallant captain of the Eighth Division, with a pink kimono over his haori and a straw hat. After Yamamoto's death he becomes Captain-Commander and leads the war against the Quincy.
Behind the absent-minded air he is a ruthless strategist when it counts: he frees Aizen, sends Unohana to die to make Kenpachi stronger, accepts any stain on his own conscience. Katen Kyōkotsu turns children's games into deadly rules; his Bankai, Karamatsu Shinjū, is a tragic drama that drags in anyone near him.
