The sealed Seijōtōkyorin compound where the forty sages and six judges who rule the Soul Society sit. Their verdicts are beyond appeal — even when, as Hitsugaya finds out, they are written by a dead man.

Aizen massacres the entire Central 46 before the story begins and uses its name to order Rukia's execution: nobody notices, because nobody may enter. A hundred years earlier it was Central 46 itself that exiled Urahara and Tessai and condemned the Visored as Hollows. The Great Spirit Library, where all the knowledge of the Soul Society is kept, is here too.
