8th Division barracks

The Division of Shunsui Kyōraku, the captain in the floral kimono who never seems to take anything seriously; lieutenant Nanao Ise. After Kyōraku's promotion the command passes to Lisa Yadōmaru.

This is where Chad is stopped by Kyōraku during the invasion of the Soul Society, with a kindness that does not hide an overwhelming superiority. A hundred years earlier the lieutenant was Lisa, later caught up in Aizen's Hollowfication: back as captain, she takes up the place where she left it.
