Hokutan (Mount Koifushi)

The third district of West Rukongai, at the foot of Mount Koifushi: this is where Kaien Shiba trains Rukia in swordsmanship, decades before the story begins.

The training sessions with Kaien are Rukia's happiest memory of the Thirteenth Division, and the reason his death marks her forever. The series does not specify which district holds the forest where Rukia is forced to run through Kaien, possessed by Metastacia: the link to this place is indicative.
