Ichibē Hyōsube's palace

The dojo at the top of a stairway cut into the hillside, home of the Royal Guard's leader, 'the Monk Who Calls True Names'. Here Renji learns Zabimaru's true name.

Ichibē is the one who gave a name to everything in the Soul Society, Bankai included. With him Renji discovers that Hihiō Zabimaru was an incomplete form: the true Bankai is Sōō Zabimaru. When Yhwach invades the palace, it is Ichibē who faces him first, erasing his name and colour with his Bankai Shirafude Ichimonji.
