Junrinan (West Rukongai 1)

The first district of West Rukongai, orderly and quiet, just outside the walls. Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Momo Hinamori grew up here with their adoptive grandmother.

Hitsugaya leaves Junrinan when he realises his still-uncontrolled spiritual pressure is making his grandmother ill: it is Rangiku Matsumoto who persuades him to join the Academy. Jidanbō, the guardian of the Hakutōmon gate, comes from here too, and this is where Yūichi Shibata, the boy Ichigo saved in his first week as a Soul Reaper, ends up living.
