Yhwach
ユーハバッハ
The forefather of the Quincy and emperor of the Wandenreich, son of the Soul King. After a thousand years of seal he returns to destroy the Soul Society and merge life and death into a single world.
Born without senses, he gained everything by gifting fragments of his soul to others and taking them back multiplied: he is the origin of all Quincy. Defeated by Yamamoto a thousand years ago, he sleeps for nine hundred years, regains his intellect in ninety and his power in nine; on waking he casts the Auswählen, which kills the impure Quincy, Masaki included. With The Almighty he sees and rewrites the future: he steals Bankai, kills Yamamoto, invades the Reiōkyū and absorbs the King. He is stopped by Uryū's silver arrow, one of Aizen's illusions and Ichigo's final slash.
