One of the poorest districts of South Rukongai. Here Hisana abandons her baby sister Rukia, and here Rukia grows up with Renji and a band of orphans before entering the Academy.

Inuzuri is the root of the bond between Rukia and Renji: two kids stealing water to survive who decide to become Soul Reapers to get out. It is also the place Hisana, by then Byakuya's wife, combs for years looking for the sister she had left behind, without ever finding her.
