Arrancar landing field

The open ground where Ulquiorra and Yammy land on their first scouting trip to Karakura: Yammy sucks out the souls of passers-by, breaks Chad's arm and injures Orihime before Ichigo arrives.

Ichigo, still unable to control his inner Hollow, cannot make use of his Bankai, and it is Urahara and Yoruichi who drive Yammy off. For Ulquiorra it is just an assessment: Ichigo, he reports to Aizen, is not a threat. The field's position within the town is indicative.
