Bleach · Character
Sōsuke Aizen
藍染惣右介
The captain of the Fifth Division, kind, cultured, loved by all. He is the greatest manipulator in the series: for over a century he has moved every piece in the Soul Society to reach the King's throne.
Kyōka Suigetsu completely hypnotises anyone who sees its release: that is why nobody notices that his corpse is an illusion, that Central 46 is dead, that he is the real culprit. Urahara's Hōgyoku is the missing piece of his plan, and he finds it in Rukia's soul. From Hueco Mundo he creates the Arrancar and the Espada, then attacks Karakura to forge the Ōken. Fused with the Hōgyoku, he surpasses every captain until Ichigo's Final Getsuga Tenshō and Urahara's seal stop him. Sentenced to twenty thousand years in Muken, he is freed against Yhwach and, with one last illusion, grants the instant that decides the war.
