Kūkaku Shiba's house

The isolated house in West Rukongai where Kūkaku, the last heir of the disgraced Shiba house, lives: recognisable from afar by the huge stone arms holding up its banner and by the cannon she fires fireworks from.

It is Kūkaku's cannon, the Kakaku Hōjutsu, that hurls Ichigo and his companions over the Seireitei's barrier inside a sphere of spiritual energy they all have to hold together. Ganju, the two servants Koganehiko and Shiroganehiko and Bonnie, Ganju's boar, live here too. The house holds the family's grief for the death of Kaien, the eldest brother.
