The Battle of Fake Karakura Town

Aizen attacks Karakura to forge the Ōken, but the real town has been swapped for a replica. Above its rooftops the Gotei 13 and the Visored face the Espada, Gin and Tōsen, while Ichigo trains in the Dangai for the final blow.

Barragan, Starrk and Tōsen fall; Harribel is betrayed by Aizen; Yamamoto sacrifices an arm. Fused with the Hōgyoku, Aizen overwhelms captains, Visored, Ichigo and Isshin, and reaches the real Karakura. Gin betrays him and dies; Ichigo returns from the Dangai and surpasses him with the Final Getsuga Tenshō, losing his own powers. Urahara's seal does the rest.
