Rangiku Matsumoto
松本乱菊
The Tenth Division lieutenant, sunny, lazy and fond of sake. Her bond with Gin Ichimaru, who found her starving in the Rukongai, is the tragic heart of the Arrancar arc.
Gin fed her when nobody else would and picked her birthday for her. When he defects, Rangiku tries to stop him on her own; when he dies in Karakura, she is there. She had been Isshin Shiba's lieutenant before Hitsugaya.
