Shiba clan
志波家
One of the great houses, fallen from grace and reduced to living in West Rukongai. Its members include Kūkaku, Ganju, the late Kaien — and Isshin, Ichigo's father.
It is the Shiba house's shield that stops the Sōkyoku, driven by Kyōraku and Ukitake. Through Isshin, Ichigo is a Shiba too.
