Tatsuki Arisawa

A karate champion, Ichigo's childhood friend and Orihime's protector: the only one who used to beat him at the dojo as a kid. She feels shut out of the spiritual world her friends fight in.

She has no powers, but enough spiritual energy to stay awake in the transferred Karakura during Aizen's attack, and to protect Keigo and the others as they flee. Her frustration at having to stand by and watch is one of the most human threads in the series.
