Zanpakutō Unknown Tales
An anime-original arc: the spirit Muramasa frees the Zanpakutō from their masters, who find themselves fighting their own materialised swords.
It is the chance to see Senbonzakura, Hyōrinmaru, Sode no Shirayuki, Zabimaru and the others in the flesh. Behind the rebellion is the attempt to free Kōga Kuchiki, Byakuya's ancestor sealed away by the Soul Society.
