8th Division
8番隊
The Division of Shunsui Kyōraku, with Nanao Ise as lieutenant; later of Lisa Yadōmaru. Insignia: the bird of paradise, symbol of omniscience.
Relaxed on the surface and impeccably run thanks to Nanao, who makes up for the captain's laziness. Lisa, lieutenant a hundred years ago, becomes its captain when Kyōraku rises to command the Gotei.
