Ichigo's mother, who died when he was nine. Only in the thousand-year war does Ichigo learn that she was a pure-blooded Quincy, and that her death was no accident.
Raised in the Ishida household, Masaki was Ryūken's betrothed. When she saved Isshin from White, the Hollow merged with her soul; Isshin saved her by giving up his powers, and the two married. Nine years after Ichigo's birth, Yhwach's Auswählen tore her Quincy power away from her just as Grand Fisher attacked her on the riverbank.
