  1. The 104th Cadet CorpsYears 846-849In 847 Eren, Mikasa and Armin enlist. On the first day Shadis yells in the recruits' faces; Sasha eats a potato in front of him and runs until she drops.
  2. Eren's harnessYears 846-849Eren cannot keep his balance on the harness and risks being expelled. The next day he holds his balance for a moment despite a faulty belt: Shadis passes him, remembering his parents.
  3. The 104th's graduationYear 850In 850 the class graduates. The top ten: Mikasa, Reiner, Bertolt, Annie, Eren, Jean, Marco, Connie, Sasha, Krista. Eren announces he will join the Survey Corps; Jean wants the comfortable life of the Military Police.
  4. Shadis's confessionYear 850At the training camp Keith Shadis tells Hange and Eren that he brought Grisha into the Walls, that he loved Carla, and that he saw Grisha take Eren into the forest on the night of the fall.
