Port of Paradis

The port built on the west coast after 850, with the help of the anti-Marleyan volunteers and Hizuru: Kiyomi Azumabito and the ships captured from Marley land here, and in 854 the fight for the only ship able to chase Eren takes place here.

During the Rumbling the new alliance — the Survey Corps and Marley's Warriors — storms the port held by Floch's Yeagerists to seize the ship and the Azumabito flying boat. Magath and Shadis stay behind to blow up the Marleyan warship the Yeagerists could use to chase them, and die in the explosion. Three years later it is here that Armin and the others land as peace ambassadors.

  1. The Volunteers landYears 851-853A Marleyan ship docks at the island: the Survey Corps captures the crew. Among the prisoners are Yelena and Onyankopon, who reveal themselves as Zeke's followers: they offer help, technology and a plan to save Paradis.
  2. Kiyomi AzumabitoYears 851-853At Zeke's invitation Kiyomi Azumabito, Hizuru's ambassador, arrives on Paradis. She recognises Mikasa as the shogun's descendant and offers an alliance: in exchange she wants the island's resources, iceburst stone above all.
  3. Niccolo's wineYear 854Sasha's parents, Gabi and Falco gather at Niccolo's restaurant. Niccolo reveals that the wine served to the army's leaders contains Zeke's spinal fluid; he discovers that Gabi killed Sasha and attacks her. Falco has already drunk some.
  4. The battle of the harbourThe Rumbling (854)The Alliance storms Paradis's harbour, held by the Yeagerists, to seize the Azumabito ship. Magath and Shadis stay behind and blow up the Marleyan warship so that no one can follow them.
  5. The peace envoysAfter the war (857 onwards)Three years later Armin, Annie, Reiner, Jean, Connie, Pieck, Gabi, Falco and Levi sail back to Paradis as the Alliance's ambassadors to negotiate with Queen Historia. Mikasa visits Eren's grave every day, beneath the tree on the hill.
