Jean Kirstein
ジャン・キルシュタイン
The recruit who only wanted a cosy life in the Military Police and who, after Marco's death, chooses the Survey Corps: a born leader, able to understand his men's fear.
Eren's rival from day one, Jean leads the recruits to the Trost headquarters. Marco's death convinces him that one cannot live pretending nothing is wrong. In 854 he is tempted to side with the Yeagerists for a quiet life, but chooses to stop the Rumbling. He survives the war and is part of the peace delegation.
