The Coordinate

座標

The point where all the Paths converge: whoever reaches it with the Founder and royal blood commands every Eldian. Here Eren meets Ymir and frees her.

When Gabi's bullet strikes Eren's head, the instant before contact with Zeke is enough to bring them both into the Coordinate. Zeke wants to use the power to make every Eldian sterile; Eren, who has no royal blood, turns instead to Ymir herself — a girl kept a slave for two thousand years — and tells her she no longer has to obey anyone. Ymir chooses him: the Rumbling begins.
