The Armored Titan: a Marleyan Warrior who smashes Shiganshina's inner gate and then lives five years among the 104th recruits as the group's 'big brother', until his mind splits in two.
Son of an Eldian mother and a Marleyan father who disowns him, he becomes a Warrior to be accepted. After Marcel's death he starts playing his part, and inside the Walls he comes to believe he really is a soldier of humanity. He reveals his identity to Eren on top of Wall Rose. Back in Marley as a hero, he only wants to die; in the cellar beneath the Liberio stage he asks Eren to kill him. In the final battle he fights alongside the Survey Corps, and after the war he is part of the peace delegation.
