Attack on Titan · Location

The Marleyan mainland

The mainland ruled by Marley, our Earth's Africa turned upside down: two thousand years ago the cradle of the Eldian Empire, today a world power thanks to its Warriors' Titans.

It is here that Ymir Fritz gained the power of the Titans and that the Eldian Empire reigned for almost two millennia, until the Great Titan War overturned the balance of power. In 854 Eren's Rumbling crosses the continent from end to end: the marching Walls crush cities, armies and peoples, and an estimated eighty per cent of humanity loses its life.
