Ryūken Ishida

Uryū's father, director of the Karakura hospital: an extremely powerful Quincy who scorns the Quincy and keeps saying 'you can't make a living' with that power.

Behind the coldness lies grief: his wife Kanae Katagiri died of Yhwach's Auswählen, on the same day as Masaki. Ryūken gives his son his powers back, teaches him to fight and, in the end, hands him the silver arrow able to freeze Yhwach's Almighty for an instant.
