Attack on Titan · Story arc
The Female Titan
On the 57th expedition an intelligent female-shaped Titan hunts for Eren. Erwin traps it in the Forest of Giant Trees, but it escapes and wipes out the Levi Squad. In Stohess humanity unmasks it: it is Annie.
The battle of Stohess, deep in Wall Sina territory, costs hundreds of civilian lives; Annie seals herself in crystal. In the cracked Wall Sina a Titan's face appears: the Walls themselves are made of Titans.
