Attack on Titan · Story arc
The Fall of Shiganshina
After a hundred years of peace, the Colossal Titan breaches Shiganshina's gate and the Armored Titan smashes the inner one: Wall Maria falls. Eren watches his mother being devoured and swears to exterminate every Titan.
The same year Grisha reaches the Reiss chapel, devours Frieda and steals the Founder, then passes it on to his son in the forest. The following year the government sends 250,000 refugees to "retake" Wall Maria: a way to thin out the mouths to feed.
