Kuchiki clan
朽木家
The noblest of the Soul Society's four great houses, guardian of tradition and a model for all Soul Reapers. Head of the family: Byakuya.
Byakuya broke its rules twice, by marrying Hisana and adopting Rukia. In the anime, the story of Kōga Kuchiki and his Zanpakutō Muramasa is the house's hidden stain.
