A millennia-old sorcerer who moves from body to body by transplanting his own brain: in 2018 he wears the corpse of Suguru Geto. He is the mind behind Shibuya, Gojo's sealing and the Culling Game.
In the Meiji era, in the body of Noritoshi Kamo, he creates the Death Paintings; in the body of Kaori Itadori he brings Yuji into the world, a perfect vessel for Sukuna. His goal is the evolution of humanity's cursed energy: he awakens thousands of people and past sorcerers and forces them to fight, then absorbs Tengen to merge everyone into a single being. In the last battle he is held back by Takaba and killed by Yuta.
