Choso

The first of the nine Death Paintings, children of a woman and Kenjaku in the Meiji era, incarnated in a human body. He uses blood as a weapon. He seeks to avenge the brothers Yuji killed — until he realises he is his brother.

At Shibuya he defeats Yuji in the station, but at the moment of the final blow he sees him as his brother and withdraws. From then on he protects him: he defeats Naoya, defends Tengen with Yuki and dies in Shinjuku shielding Yuji from Sukuna's fire.
