The sorcerers' Japan rebuilt across six original maps: the archipelago with the ten Culling Game colonies, Tokyo, Shibuya inside the Veil, Tokyo Jujutsu High, Kyoto and Sendai. Yuji, Megumi, Nobara and Gojo, the Gojo, Zen'in and Kamo clans, the disaster curses, Kenjaku and Sukuna, from the Heian era and Gojo and Geto's past to the Shibuya Incident, the Culling Game and the Shinjuku Showdown.

See all →- Tokyo Jujutsu HighTraining areaOne of the two schools in Japan that train sorcerers, hidden in the wooded hills at the western edge of Tokyo and protected by Tengen's barrier. Double-click to open the plan of the grounds.
- Shibuya StationBattlefieldThe heart of the maze: Toge clears the way for Yuji through the transfigured humans, Yuji faces Choso in the corridors; the sorcerers fight Dagon; here, burned and maimed, Nanami meets Mahito for the last time.
- ShinjukuBattlefieldThe stage of two battles exactly one year apart: Geto's Night Parade on 24 December 2017 and the final clash between Gojo and Sukuna on 24 December 2018, which razes the ward.
- Kyoto Jujutsu HighTraining areaThe sister school of Tokyo's, led by principal Gakuganji: closer to the clans and the conservative leadership. Its students — Todo, Mai, Noritoshi, Miwa, Momo, Mechamaru — come to Tokyo for the annual exchange.
- Tombs of the StarSacred placeThe underground sanctuary beneath the school where Tengen lives, around a gigantic tree. In 2006 Toji kills Riko Amanai there in front of Geto; in 2018 Kenjaku faces Yuki and Choso there to absorb Tengen.
- ShibuyaBattlefieldThe ward of the Shibuya Incident: on Halloween night 2018 a Veil isolates the station, Gojo is sealed and Sukuna razes the ward. Double-click to open the map of the Incident.
- Fukutoshin Line platform B5FBattlefieldThe underground platform where Gojo, alone, faces Jogo, Hanami and Choso amid thousands of civilians, and expands his domain for 0.2 seconds. Then he sees Suguru Geto: for an instant he hesitates, and the Prison Realm seals him.
- DogenzakaRuinsAgainst Mahoraga Sukuna expands the Malevolent Shrine without a barrier and razes everything down to the station. In the void left behind Yuji and Todo face Mahito, and here Kenjaku reveals himself.

- Sugisawa Municipal High School No. 3LandmarkYuji's high school, where he joined the occult club only so he could go home early. His clubmates open a cursed object — one of Sukuna's fingers — and lure the spirits: to save them Yuji swallows the finger.

See all →- KenjakuA millennia-old sorcerer who moves from body to body by transplanting his own brain: in 2018 he wears the corpse of Suguru Geto. He is the mind behind Shibuya, Gojo's sealing and the Culling Game.
- MahitoThe cursed spirit born from the hatred and fear human beings feel for one another. He touches the soul and reshapes the body: he turns people into monsters. He is Yuji's personal enemy.
- Maki Zen'inA second-year student born with almost no cursed energy because of a heavenly restriction: she fights with cursed tools and extraordinary physical strength. Despised by the Zen'in clan, she wants to become its head.
- Megumi FushiguroFirst-year student and user of the Ten Shadows Technique, the Zen'in hereditary technique. Toji's son, sold to the clan as a child, he was taken into Gojo's care. Sukuna chooses him as his new body.
- Nobara KugisakiA first-year student who came from the countryside to live in Tokyo: she fights with a hammer, nails and a straw doll, and her Resonance strikes the enemy's soul through a piece of its body.
- Ryomen SukunaThe King of Curses: a Heian-era sorcerer with four arms and two faces, so feared that after his death his twenty fingers survived as indestructible cursed objects. Yuji becomes his vessel.
- Satoru GojoThe strongest sorcerer in the world, born with the Six Eyes and Limitless. A teacher at the Tokyo school, he wants to change the jujutsu world by raising a generation of sorcerers able to surpass him.
- Suguru GetoGojo's best friend and a special-grade sorcerer able to absorb and command cursed spirits. In 2007, disgusted by non-sorcerers, he slaughters a village of them and becomes a curse user.
- Yuji ItadoriA Sendai high-schooler with superhuman physical strength who swallows one of Sukuna's fingers to save his clubmates and becomes the vessel of the King of Curses. Sentenced to death, he agrees to eat every finger so he can die taking Sukuna with him.
- Yuta OkkotsuThe protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0: a boy haunted by Rika, his late childhood friend, who becomes one of the four special-grade sorcerers. His technique copies those of others.
- Aoi TodoA third-year Kyoto student and grade 1 sorcerer: he asks everyone what kind of girl they like and, when Yuji answers as he would, adopts him as his "brother". His technique swaps places with a clap of the hands.
- ChosoThe first of the nine Death Paintings, children of a woman and Kenjaku in the Meiji era, incarnated in a human body. He uses blood as a weapon. He seeks to avenge the brothers Yuji killed — until he realises he is his brother.

See all →- Tokyo Jujutsu HighOrganizationOne of Japan's two schools that train sorcerers and their operational base in Tokyo: officially a private religious school, protected by Tengen's barrier. Principal Masamichi Yaga, iconic teacher Satoru Gojo.
- Kyoto Jujutsu HighOrganizationThe Kyoto sister school, more closely tied to the clans and the conservative leadership. Every year it challenges Tokyo in the exchange event; in 2018 principal Gakuganji orders his students to use it to kill Yuji.
- Zen'in clanClanOne of the three great clans, keeper of the Ten Shadows Technique and Projection Sorcery: a clan that measures people only by their technique. It drove out Toji and rejected Maki; Maki wipes it out.
- Kenjaku's special-grade spiritsGroupThe special-grade cursed spirits born from collective fears — Mahito, Jogo, Hanami, Dagon — allied with Kenjaku for a world in which curses replace humans. They prepare the Shibuya Incident.
- The Culling Game playersGroupThe past sorcerers reincarnated by Kenjaku and the ordinary people forcibly awakened: they had to enter a colony within nineteen days or lose their technique, and earn points by killing one another.
- The Death Painting WombsGroupNine cursed foetuses born in the Meiji era of the woman who could conceive children by spirits and of Noritoshi Kamo (Kenjaku): cursed objects kept at the school. The first three — Choso, Eso, Kechizu — incarnate after the theft.
- Geto's 'family'GroupSuguru Geto's followers after his betrayal: the twins Mimiko and Nanako, Miguel, Larue and other curse users. They believe in his dream of a world of sorcerers only and take part in the Night Parade.
- The Tokyo first-yearsGroupThe protagonists' class in 2018: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, with Gojo as their teacher. Three kids who have known each other for a few months and whom the jujutsu world does not spare.
- The Tokyo second-yearsGroupThe Jujutsu Kaisen 0 class, enrolled in 2017: Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, Panda and Yuta Okkotsu. In 2018 they are the school's most experienced students.
- The Star Religious GroupOrganizationThe cult that worships Tengen and considers the merger with the Star Plasma Vessel a sacrilege: in 2006 it pays Toji to kill Riko. The faithful applaud before her corpse, and that applause breaks Geto.
- Sukuna's retinueGroupWhat remains of the King of Curses' court: Sukuna and Uraume, the servant who has waited for him for a thousand years. In the Culling Game they ally with Kenjaku to bring Sukuna back to his true body.
- Gojo clanClanOne of the three great clans of the jujutsu world, keeper of the Limitless technique. Satoru Gojo is the first in four hundred years to be born with both Limitless and the Six Eyes.

See all →- LimitlessThe Gojo clan's hereditary technique, which brings the concept of infinity into the real world. Without the Six Eyes it is almost impossible to control; with them it makes Gojo untouchable.
- Unlimited VoidGojo's domain: an infinite void that floods those inside with endless information, paralysing them. At Shibuya he opens it for just 0.2 seconds so as not to kill the civilians.
- Shrine (Dismantle and Cleave)Sukuna's technique: Dismantle, a ranged slash, and Cleave, a cut that adapts to the target's toughness. In the end Yuji, whose body bears its imprint, learns to use it.
- Malevolent ShrineSukuna's domain, which needs no barrier: a shrine of mouths and bones that ceaselessly slashes everything within its range. At Shibuya it razes the ward.
- Ten Shadows TechniqueThe Zen'in's most coveted hereditary technique: hand signs summon ten shikigami from the shadows. A destroyed shikigami passes its powers to the next ones. Sukuna wants Megumi precisely for it.
- Black FlashWhen cursed energy hits within a millionth of a second of the impact, space distorts and the blow lands at 2.5 times its power: the spark turns black. No one can do it on command; those who succeed enter a state of grace.
- Domain ExpansionThe pinnacle of jujutsu: the sorcerer projects their inner world into a barrier, and within it their technique strikes without ever missing. Two domains that meet fight for supremacy.
- Cursed energyThe energy born from human beings' negative emotions. Those who cannot control it give rise to cursed spirits without meaning to; sorcerers channel it to fight and to power their technique.
- Binding VowA pact with oneself or with others that grants power in exchange for a restriction — and punishes those who break it. It is through a vow extorted from Yuji that Sukuna manages to take Megumi's body.
- Reverse Cursed TechniqueMultiplying cursed energy by itself to obtain positive energy: it regenerates the body. Very few master it, and only Shoko and Yuta can use it on others as well.
- Sukuna's fingersSukuna's twenty fingers, indestructible cursed objects scattered across Japan: each holds part of his power. Yuji swallows the first in Sendai and the others one after another.
- Death Painting WombsThe nine cursed foetuses created in the Meiji era by Kenjaku, in the body of Noritoshi Kamo. Kept at the school, they are stolen during the Kyoto exchange; the first three incarnate.
