Attack on Titan · Character
Karl Fritz
カール・フリッツ
The 145th king of the Eldians: weary of war, he secretly agrees with the Tybur family to bring down the Empire, withdraws to Paradis with most of his people, raises the Walls and erases his subjects' memory.
His 'vow renouncing war' is passed on to every royal-blooded holder of the Founder: whoever inherits the Titan inherits his will too, and cannot use the power to defend the island. That is why Uri and Frieda Reiss never fought Marley, and why Eren's plan goes through a member of the royal family who does not inherit it: Zeke.
