Kenny Ackerman

The 'Ripper' who killed dozens of military policemen, later head of the Military Police's anti-personnel squad serving the Reiss family: he raises Levi and abandons him. Mortally wounded, he leaves him the serum instead of using it.

The Ackermans were persecuted by the crown because their minds escaped the Founder's power. Kenny seeks revenge and tries to kill Uri Reiss, but Uri forgives him and Kenny swears loyalty to him. After Uri dies, he wants to understand what Uri saw in the Founder's power and plans to take it for himself. In the Reiss chapel his dream collapses; among the rubble, he tells Levi that everyone is 'a slave to something'.
