Loguetown
At Loguetown, where Roger was executed, Luffy brushes death at Buggy's hands but is saved by a lightning bolt and the mysterious Dragon. Escaping Smoker, the crew heads for Reverse Mountain.
At Loguetown, 'the town of the beginning and the end' where Gol D. Roger was executed, the crew stocks up: Zoro buys two new swords from Ipponmatsu, Sanji works the market, Luffy climbs Roger's scaffold. There Buggy, allied with Alvida, is about to behead him, but a lightning bolt saves him. The revolutionary Dragon quietly covers his son's escape from captain Smoker. Through the storm the crew climbs Reverse Mountain and enters the Grand Line, leaving East Blue behind.
