Arlong Park
On the Conomi Islands the crew learns Nami's past as Arlong's slave. Luffy strikes down the fish-man, frees Cocoyashi, and Nami joins the Straw Hats for good.
On the Conomi Islands the crew learns Nami's secret: for years she robbed pirates to buy back the freedom of her village, enslaved by the fish-man Arlong. Betrayed by the corrupt lieutenant Nezumi, Nami breaks down and for the first time asks Luffy for help. The crew storms Arlong Park: Zoro, Sanji and Usopp beat the officers, and Luffy — thrown into the sea with cemented feet and pulled out — demolishes Arlong and his tower. Cocoyashi freed, Nami joins the Straw Hats for good, who earn their first bounty.
