Impel Down
Luffy breaks into the inescapable Impel Down prison to save Ace. Through its infernal levels he forges unlikely alliances (Ivankov, Jinbe, Buggy, Crocodile) and leads a mass jailbreak.
Luffy infiltrates the underwater prison of Impel Down to save Ace. He descends its six infernal levels, reunites with old enemies turned allies — Buggy, Mr. 3, Crocodile — and is poisoned by Warden Magellan. Saved at the last moment by the queen of cross-dressers Emporio Ivankov, he learns Ace has already been moved to Marineford. Together with Jinbe, Crocodile and an army of escapees he leads a spectacular revolt and breaks out, just as Blackbeard enters to recruit the monsters of Level 6.
