A Survey Corps soldier who died in 849: her notebook, found by Levi, tells of a Titan that spoke to her, calling her 'Ymir' and bowing.
Cut off during the 34th expedition, she writes until the end so as not to give in to fear. The Titan that catches her speaks, calls her 'Ymir' and bows: it is the first evidence that Titans have something to do with humans, and a clue to the bond between Ymir and the Eldians.
