Colossal Titan

The largest of the Nine, about 60 metres tall: the transformation is an explosion comparable to a bomb, and the body emits scalding steam. Holders: Bertolt Hoover, then Armin Arlert.

It is the Titan that breaches the Shiganshina gate in 845 and the Trost gate in 850. Its body burns away quickly: slow and vulnerable, it is a weapon of destruction rather than of combat. Armin uses it to destroy Marley's fleet at Liberio and, with an explosion, Paradis's port.
