Banchina

Usopp's sick mother, who taught him to believe in tales while awaiting her pirate husband's return.

Banchina, Usopp's mother, fell ill after her husband Yasopp sailed off with Shanks; she died smiling, and from then on Usopp repeated his daily lie — 'the pirates are coming!' — to honor her memory.
