Whole Cake Island
Part of the crew enters Empress Big Mom's territory to bring Sanji home from an arranged marriage with the Charlotte. Amid Germa's betrayal, the duel with Katakuri and the escape from Totland, Luffy openly challenges an Emperor.
To bring Sanji home — betrothed to Pudding in Empress Big Mom's plan — part of the crew enters Totland with the help of the minks and the warrior Pedro. Amid the betrayal and redemption of the Vinsmoke family (Germa 66), the poisoned tea and Big Mom's breakdown before the photo of the 'kind' Sanji, Luffy holds out in a marathon duel against Charlotte Katakuri in the Mirro-World, awakening the foresight of Haki. Pedro's sacrifice and a wedding cake quell the Empress's fury: the crew escapes Totland and Jinbe vows to join soon.
