Pain's Six Paths

The six bodies animated by Nagato through the Rinnegan: Deva Path, Asura Path, Human Path, Animal Path, Hungry Ghost Path and Hell Path. Each body controlled one of the six powers of the Rinnegan.

Nagato used the corpses of former shinobi, including Yahiko (as the main Deva Path body), to project his will at a distance. The six bodies were telepathically connected through chakra receivers. This technique is an advanced manifestation of the Rinnegan.
